Our Client is a leading provider of engineering consultancy services in the specialty areas of environment, infrastructure and buildings. The company operates in Sixty (60) countries of the world, with eight (08) branches in the United Kingdom.

OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE FOR:

• Trainee Energy Assessors (TEA)
.
• Energy Assessors (EA)
• Energy Consultants (EC)

Trainee Energy Assessors (TEA), Energy Assessors (EA) and Energy Consultants (EC) are required to work in the newly created energy team. Services provided by this team consist mainly of the production of building certification documentation for non domestic building. Examples of this documentation include:

• Energy Performance Certificates (EPC);
• Display Energy Certificates (DEC);
• Air-condition and Boiler inspection.

Other engineering consultancy services provided include:

• Energy Surveys and Energy Audits
• The application of renewable (green) energy technology in new and existing buildings.

One of South Africa's largest financial services organisations, serving personal, commercial and corporate clients, and offering a comprehensive range of banking services, continues to pursue exciting expansion opportunities into countries in close proximity to its South African operations.

This banking group owns an 80% stake in one of the largest retail banks in Mozambique, with branches in all the provinces servicing over 400 000 customers. A strategic thinking senior level finance professional who has the ability to provide sophisticated quality decision-making tools and advice in order to guide the Board in leading the bank in meeting its future aspirations is required to effectively manage and co-ordinate the finance activities of the bank.

They are looking for a CFO with the following profile Key Requirements:

• CA
• Bilingual Portuguese and English speaker (This is desirable and would be over looked of the candidate strongly fulfil the other key indicators)
• 5 - 8 years banking or financial industry experience in a senior financial role
• A sound understanding of profitability relating to funding, treasury and ALCO environments
• Strong managerial experience
• An ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Role:
• Playing of an integral role in the strategic planning, budgeting, forecasting and business decision making processes
• Involvement in the setting, guiding and measurement of the strategic direction of the bank
• Management and motivation of a team of finance professionals and specialists
• Development of processes, new and innovative information and tools to streamline innovative financial decision making
• Co-ordination of high quality financial statements and other management information
• Ensuring of efficient risk and compliance policies and procedures
